According to the Washington Post, 66% of Americans say they will probably seek help in coping with their everyday stress. Fortunately, the key to stress reduction for many people is not professional help, but regular retreats to a calming body of water. A wonderful way to enjoy the water is on a Triton boat. In fact, Triton provides a variety of boats to ensure the most relaxing boating experience possible.

Unlike most other fiberglass boats, Triton boats have a wood-free construction. Wood has traditionally been used for the stringer system, deck and floor of fiberglass boats, but this material can rot due to moisture and time. Because wood can lead to structural deficiencies, Triton builds their vehicles with a composite of fiberglass and high-tech, weather-resistant polyurethane known as Tri-Core. Tri-Core is lighter and stronger than wood or wood-fiberglass combinations.

Aluminum is one type of Triton's quality boats. Many of their high performance models, such as the 197 Magnum, the DV206 Magnum and the DV186 Magnum, each have hulls with a .125 inch welded aluminum. Their decks and floors are welded, instead of screwed, to ensure the model's structural integrity. Hulls have wider bottoms than other fiberglass boats for enhanced stability and comfort. To benefit anglers, most models are made with deluxe 16-ounce marine carpeting.

Triton is also known for its saltwater fishing boats. Their saltwater fishing boats include center consoles, walkarounds, and light tackle series. Center consoles have deep-vee hulls to protect passengers from waves and provide a smoother ride. They also feature a high output circular baitwell to keep baitfish alive during fishing. Walkarounds also have smooth handling. But, they are distinct in their roomy cockpits and enclosed cabins that contain a small galley and a drop down dinette. The Light Tackle series is another member of the Triton fishing boats. With its large deckpan and excellent stability, this boat works best in coastal and bay fishing.

Triton bass boats are another favorite among anglers due to their specialized features. Divided into the X series and TR series, bass boats are made for extreme conditions; their extra-deep frames ensure stability in rough waters and have an exclusive retractable ladder in case of an emergency.

Yet another popular choice for boat enthusiasts is the Triton pontoon. Divided into the platinum and gold series, these boats provide luxurious fishing conditions. With two comfortable couches and a reclining captain's chair, each pontoon has enough seating for the entire family to enjoy. They have professional sound systems, recessed floor lights, and a large rear sun lounge for the best relaxation.

In addition to these unique features, boat owners can purchase boat covers to personalize their property. Boat covers are available in dozens of colors and are commonly made with a polyester-cotton blend. These accessories can range in cost from approximately $200 to $500 for custom-made covers.

Regardless of the where their stress originates, anyone can find relief from the frustrations of the daily grind through boating excursions. Whether used for fishing or sunbathing, Triton boats excel in both utility and recreation. Through its variety of models, Triton boats provide a popular way to relax on the water.
